Diploma in Pharmacy
Pharmacy diploma programme at Sri Sai Group of Institutions is intended to prepare students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for basic-level positions in retail pharmacies as well as pharmaceutical companies. The coursework of the programme essentially provides an overview of the theory and various principles and practices involved in the science of pharmacy.
Elementary concepts of pharmaceutical science involving pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, human anatomy & physiology, biochemistry and clinical pathology, health education, community pharmacy, etc. are introduced to the students. In addition, students also learn about the vast regulatory requirements involved in screening, testing, pre-clinical, and clinical trials of drugs. Upon completion, students become eligible to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other related pharmaceutical fields.
